8th Heidelberg Laureate Forum to be held in September 2020 in Heidelberg

The ‘8th Heidelberg Laureate Forum’ will be held from 20 to 25 September 2020 in Heidelberg, Germany. The Heidelberg Laureate Forum brings together Laureates in computing (recipients of the Turing Award and ACM Prize in Computing) and mathematics (Fields Medal, Abel Prize and Nevanlinna Prize) with 200 young researchers. The event consists of presentations by the young researchers and workshops, as well as social events.

To be considered for participation, young researchers can either apply directly www.application.heidelberg-laureate-forum.org or be nominated by a colleague (or professor, mentor or manager) who can attest to the quality of their work. Applications and nominations must be completed by 14 February, 2020.

The selection of young researchers in computing will be a two-step process. In the first step, the pool of applications and nominations in computing will be screened and ranked by the ACM Selection Committee. In the second stage, the top applications/nominations will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of HFL for final selection.
