The British Computer Society has published a book entitled “A practical guide to increasing gender diversity and inclusion”. This guide aims to address the gender imbalance. It includes expertise, initiatives and true stories to support those wishing to bring greater gender diversity into the workplace. The book combines theory and policy and includes advice on concrete actions that can be undertaken for companies, organisations, establishments and campaigns in the form of real-world case studies. Gillian Arnold, CEPIS Board member and Chair of the Women in ICT expert group, is a co-author and editor of the book.
