Byron Nicolaides re-elected as CEPIS President

Byron Nicolaides (Hellenic Informatics Professionals Society, Greece) was re-elected as CEPIS President at the CEPIS Council meeting on 7 May, for a further three-year term. Mr Nicolaides’s main priorities for his new presidency are to promote and execute CEPIS Vision and Mission with appropriate initiatives, goals and actions in a consistent, efficient and fair manner, to support Member Societies in identifying and managing innovative ICT related opportunities both on a national and European level, to enhance the relationship of CEPIS with the European Commission, and to ensure that European initiatives are properly communicated to the Member Societies. 

Mr Nicolaides is the founder, CEO and sole shareholder of PeopleCert, a global leader in the assessment and certification of professional and language skills. Prior to PeopleCert, he was a self-made entrepreneur having started various businesses and worked as International Vice President for Merrill Lynch.
