Last month, the European Commission launched the initiative “Women TechEU”. The aim of this scheme is to support women leading deep tech start-ups in Europe. The initiative will offer coaching and mentoring to female CEOs and founders. It will also make available funding to grow their business.
The European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel, also launched a call for mentorship for this scheme, as a part of the European Innovation Council’s Women Leadership Programme.
The “Women TechEU” scheme is funded under the European Innovation Ecosystems work programme of Horizon Europe.
