As of 1 July, Czech Republic has taken over the 6-month rotating presidency of the Council of the EU from France. In light of the current events, the main priorities of the Czech presidency are Ukraine’s post-war recovery and energy security, as well as security and cyber resilience. The Czech Presidency will focus on quickly developing the “Hybrid toolbox”, the fight against disinformation and the security of cyberspace. It will also pay particular attention to the cybersecurity of EU institutions, bodies and agencies and to the EU space-based secure communication system.
