The German Informatics Society (GI) has launched the ‘Charter on Digital Education’ as a nationwide German initiative earlier this year. Many political figures, business, and civil society stakeholders expressed their support for a shared understanding of what education in the digital age is, and what values it should be based on. The three main dimensions include technical understanding, socio-cultural context, and application orientation. Feel free to check out the following link for an English translation which will be available soon, and all European stakeholders are invited to show their support by signing the charter online.
