Have your say on the Digital Services Act

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the Digital Services Act. It aims to gather views, evidence and data from all interested stakeholders to assist in defining the future rulebook for digital services. The consultation is open until 8 September. It covers a broad range of issues, from safety online to a fair and equal digital economy.

The Digital Services Act was announced by President Ursula von der Leyen in her political programme. It is also a part of the “Shaping Europe’s Digital Future” document.  The results of the consultation will feed into the Commission’s proposals for the Digital Services Act package, which will be released at the end of the year.
