The “Women4IT” project, financed by the EEA Grants and the Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment, runs in 7 countries across Europe (Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania and Spain) based on a multistakeholder partnership of 9 partners: LIKTA, CRETHIDEV, BETIS, TECH.MT, EOS, PLAN INTERNATIONAL and Expert Partners ECWT and DIGITALEUROPE). The aim is to develop the digital competences of 1000 young women between 19 and 29 years old in the NEET (Not in Education, Employment or in Training) Group in Europe and at risk of exclusion from the labour market. By using new innovative tools and increasing the digital skills of the participants in collaboration with businesses and other employers the employability of minimum 750 women will be secured in 8 job profiles from 2021.
In Ireland the recruitment phase started over the summer and will continue until January 2021.
