At the Council meeting on 5 May, Luis Fernandez-Sanz (Spain) was elected the new President of the CEPIS Board of Directors. As laid down in CEPIS Constitution, Luis will assume his new position at the November 2022 Council meeting and will serve for three years.
Luis has been a long-standing member of the CEPIS Board of Directors. He has also for a long time been very actively involved in various strategic activities of CEPIS, such as co-chairing the Digital Skills Policy expert group, working as an expert in the EU4Digital project on behalf of CEPIS, leading the evaluation and improvement of the accessibility of the CEPIS website.
At the meeting, the Council also approved the revised proposal of the 2022 CEPIS budget, and discussed CEPIS 2030 strategy. The Council agreed that the final strategy proposal will be presented and approved at the November CEPIS Council meeting.
The meeting minutes will be distributed to the official representatives of the Member Societies in due course.
