Women4IT Project Update & Webinar 11 September

The project “Women4IT” has made great progress over the summer. It is now in the recruitment phase since July 2020 and will continue until December 2020. The Irish Computer Society (ICS) and other partners are hosting several webinars to showcase the project and to get participants and employers involved. The first webinar will be hosted by ICS on Friday 11th September at 11 am Dublin time. Register for the webinar.

The training is due to start at the end of September 2020 and different sessions will be organised until January 2021. The ultimate goal of the project is to secure a digital job for the participants and this last phase will start in December 2020 and will continue until March 2021.

The project is supported by 9 Partners across Europe and it will be implemented in 7 countries. The aim is to develop the digital competences of 100 young women in Ireland, between 19 and 29 years old, who are at risk of exclusion from the labour market, by improving their employability.
