On 9 May, Professor Paolo Ciancarini was appointed as the new Italian National Representative in the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP). Professor Ciancarini has been a senior member of IFIP and National Representative in TC14 for a long time. He is currently organising the 22nd IFIP International Conference on Entertainment Computing, which will take place from 15 to 17 November 2023 in Bologna, Italy.
On 11 May, Antonio Piva was appointed President of AICA. Mr Piva is a computer engineer, entrepreneur, consultant in Quality, Security and Privacy sectors, university lecturer and Member of the Italian Council of Engineers. He has held several key roles in AICA since 1999, when he joined the Association. Among other aims, he is committed to strengthening relations with the ICDL Foundation, since AICA has been providing ICDL certifications for the digital citizens in Italy for 25 years.
