The Annual Privacy Forum (APF) 2026, of which CEPIS has been a partner for many years, has announced an extension of its paper submission deadlines, offering researchers and practitioners additional time to contribute to the conference marking Ten Years of GDPR – Engineering the Future. Jointly organised by the University of Salzburg and Goethe University Frankfurt, APF 2026 will take place on 9–10 September 2026 in Salzburg, Austria.
The abstract submission deadline has been extended to 15 April 2026, while the full paper submission deadline is now 22 April 2026. The extension aims to encourage broader participation across disciplines addressing emerging challenges in data protection, privacy engineering, AI, digital services, policy, and practice.
APF 2026 invites original, interdisciplinary contributions from academia, industry, policymakers, regulators, and civil society. Papers should explore how law, technology, and practice can jointly respond to evolving privacy and data protection challenges in Europe and beyond.
Submissions are accepted via EasyChair.
