Every global region is facing a skills gap, a new report from online learning platform, Coursera, has found.
Critical skills needed by companies include cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analysis and software development, and by 2025, studies show that 149 million new digital jobs will have been created in privacy and trust, cybersecurity, data analysis, machine learning and AI, cloud and data roles, and software development. These latest figures underline the call for identifying new ways to reskill and upskill workers for companies to maintain their competitive advantage.
