On Wednesday 1 July ITPE held the e-CF User Group’s meeting focusing on application of the European e-Competence Framework (e-CF) in companies. Speakers included Frédéric Lau (Cigref) on Cigref’s job profile framework ‘Nomenclature’, Co Siebes (Capgemini) on cases of the use of the e-CF in Dutch organisations as well as Ronald Scherpenisse (Influsense) who talked about defining new professional roles with the e-CF. The session also included discussions that covered the approaches needed in Agile versus ‘waterfall’-structured project teams and how the e-CF can contribute to the more dynamic work processes required in a modern workplace.
