McKinsey has mapped relevant skills and roles and identified about 4,000 tech skills, separating them into seven key clusters needed in the modern company:
- Customer Experience
- Platforms and products
- Data management
- Cybersecurity and privacy
The work comes after a survey conducted by McKinsey showed that 82% of global CIOs expect that reskilling and upskilling will be at least half of the solution to their persistent skill gaps.
