ICODSIP Programme Now Available

The full programme for the second iteration of the International Conference on Digital Skills and IT Professionalism (ICODSIP), organised by CEPIS along with the Spanish Informatics Association (ATI) and the University of Alcalá de Henares on 6–7 November, is now available.

The two-day event will open with remarks from the President of CEPIS and the Director of the Escuela Politécnica Superior, followed by a comprehensive agenda of presentations and discussions examining the evolution of digital competences, AI, and IT professionalism in Europe.

A central highlight is the panel on AI’s impact on professional roles, which will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the nature of IT work, creating new professional profiles, and redefining what digital expertise means in an AI-driven economy.

Another key session, “Digital Skills and the Future of DigComp”, will look ahead to how Europe’s main competence framework can adapt to emerging technologies and societal needs—ensuring that digital education and certification remain relevant, inclusive, and future-ready.

The final panel, “The Missing Talent: Aligning Digital Skills with Industry Needs”, will address the persistent skills gap across Europe, focusing on the potential of women and other underrepresented groups, as well as collaboration between education, policy, and industry, can help develop the talent essential for competitiveness and innovation.
