The European DIGITAL SME Alliance has announced the upcoming launch of the Tech Sovereignty Catalogue, a new initiative designed to chart and assess European-owned digital technologies across key areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, connectivity, and AI.
Developed in alignment with the EuroStack framework, the Catalogue aims to showcase strategic EU-based solutions that support digital sovereignty and reduce reliance on non-European technologies. Each listed technology will be assessed based on its contribution to European capabilities, capacities, and control, using a structured evaluation framework.
An inclusive coalition of experts, public and private sector stakeholders, and digital innovators is backing the initiative. The Catalogue is set to serve as a practical resource for public procurement, funding strategies, and policy-making, highlighting opportunities for coordination and collaboration within Europe’s digital ecosystem.
European tech companies are invited to submit qualifying solutions, with the Catalogue expected to play a pivotal role in shaping a secure, resilient, and competitive digital infrastructure for the EU.
