Save the Date: International Symposium on Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science

The Slovak Society for Computer Science, in cooperation with the Comenius University, is
organizing the 49th International Symposium on Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
(MFCS) on 26-30 August 2024 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The MFCS conference series is one of the conferences with the longest history in the field — the
first MFCS conference was held back in 1972. Traditionally, the conference was held variously in
the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland, but since 2013 it has been held also in other European
countries. The MFCS has been established as a respected venue for top original research in all
branches of Theoretical Computer Science.
Since 2016, the proceedings are being published as part of the Leibniz International Proceedings in
Informatics series, published by Schloss Dagstuhl – Leibniz-Zentrum für Informatik. Apart from the
contributions selected by the program committee, the 49th MFCS will present prominent invited
speakers: Wojciech Czerwiński (University of Warsaw), Jarkko Kari (University of Turku), Kasper
Green Larsen (Aarhus University), Rupak Majumdar (Max Planck Institute for Software Systems)
and David Peleg (Weizmann Institute of Science).
The deadline for contributions is April, 26. For more information visit
