The Informatics History Exhibition of John von Neumann Computer Society (NJSZT) successfully hosted its five‑day Digital Theme Week between 23–27 March 2026, welcoming more than 800 students and teachers. The programme showcased modern digital education tools and helped participants strengthen their digital skills and awareness.
CEPIS and CCS Co‑Organise Successful STEM Conference in Nicosia
The conference “Educators and Professional Choices in STEM Sciences” was held with great success on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, at the Kousioumi Venue in Nicosia, attracting strong participation from educators, academics, policy‑makers, and industry representatives. Co‑organised by the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) and CEPIS, the event was delivered in collaboration with ten public and private universities in Cyprus and held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.

Conference Highlights the Role of Teachers in Shaping ICT and STEM Career Choices
A high-level conference entitled “Teachers and Career Choices in ICT and STEM” will take place on Tuesday, 3 March 2026 in Nicosia, Cyprus, bringing together educators, academics, career counselors and parents to address one of the most pressing challenges facing Cyprus and Europe: the low participation of girls in Information Technology and STEM professions.

The registration to the International Conference on Digital Skills and IT Professionalism (ICODSIP) is closing on 31 October. The conference will take place at the University of Alcalá in Spain on 6-7 November.
NJSzT Leads Digital Awareness Training for Educators
A diverse group of teachers, school social workers, after-school programme mentors, school psychologists, career counselors, and IT instructors for the visually impaired recently participated in the three-day “Together for Digitally Aware Youth” train-the-trainer programme. The programme was organised by United Way Hungary.
AICA to Co-Host 2025 Olympiads to Boost Digital Talent and Cooperation
The competition, launched in 2000 and involving over 250,000 students to date, is organised by the Ministry of Education and Merit in collaboration with AICA – Associazione Italiana per l’Informatica e il Calcolo Automatico, a long-standing promoter of digital skills in Italy and a member of CEPIS.
