
70% of all digital transformations fail. This is the conclusion based on a book by former P&G executive Tony Saldanha entitled ‘Why Digital Transformations Fail’. The author notes that this is due to a lack of discipline in defining and executing the right steps for digital transformations to take off and stay ahead in companies. His book introduces the ‘Five-Stage Digital Transformation Model’, which is a step-by-step roadmap to help guide companies through their transformation. This includes automating relevant internal processes as well as staying updated on most recent technological developments.
