CEPIS has announced an extension to the nomination deadline for the 2026 IT Professionalism Europe Awards, giving the European digital community additional time to recognise outstanding IT professionals and their contributions to the profession.
The deadline for submissions has now been extended to 16 October 2026, providing individuals, organisations, academic institutions and professional networks with an extra two weeks to nominate deserving candidates from across Europe.
The IT Professionalism Europe Awards celebrate excellence, leadership and impact within the digital profession. The awards recognise professionals whose work has advanced the IT profession through achievements in areas such as leadership, mentoring, education, research, standards, ethics, community building, advocacy, professional practice, innovation and societal impact.
Nominations are being accepted in four categories:
- European IT Professional of the Year
- European Female Pioneer IT Professional of the Year
- European Young IT Professional of the Year
- European IT Professionalism Researcher of the Year
CEPIS encourages colleagues, employers, professional bodies, universities and peers to submit nominations and help celebrate the individuals whose work is advancing professionalism, innovation and excellence within Europe’s digital workforce.
