The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) has announced the winners of the Pancyprian Informatics Olympiad, who will represent Cyprus in the respective international competitions.
The Vice President of the CCS Board, Mr. Andreas Loutsios, said: “Since 1991, when the Pancyprian competition was organised, it is the first time that a primary school student has managed to reach such a high ranking. We wish good luck to all the young talents who will represent Cyprus and equivalent positions and medals as last year!”
The Pancyprian Informatics Olympiad 2021 is a programming competition organised by CCS in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth and supported by the companies XM and Oracle Academy. The purpose of this annual event is to select the official delegations which will represent Cyprus in the International IT Olympiads, the preparation of which is undertaken by volunteers, trainers and teachers who offer free courses and guidance to participants.
