The Generative AI Skills Academy (GenAISA), in collaboration with the Digital Large-Scale Partnership and the Artificial Intelligence Skills Alliance (ARISA), will host an interactive online workshop titled “Designing Training for Fast-Changing Labor Markets: Insights from the Generative AI Skills Academy” on Wednesday, 11 February at 14:00 CET.
As technological change accelerates—particularly in fields such as artificial intelligence—skills requirements are evolving faster than traditional curricula can keep up. Many existing training models remain linear and content-heavy, making them slow to adapt and increasingly disconnected from real labor market needs.
This collaborative workshop will explore whether—and how—training systems can be redesigned to stay relevant in rapidly changing environments. Bringing together training designers, educators, and decision-makers, the session will focus on practical strategies for creating responsive, future-oriented training programs.
Drawing on hands-on experience from GenAISA, participants will gain insights into innovative approaches that prioritize agility, relevance, and impact—ensuring that learners acquire the right skills at the right time. The workshop offers a timely opportunity to rethink how education and training can better align with fast-moving labor markets and emerging technologies.
