BCS President’s Thoughts on Inclusion in Tech Industry

For the International Women’s Day, the British Computer Society (BCS) asked their president, Gillian Arnold, to share her thoughts on equality and inclusivity in the ICT sector. This interview, titled “IWD2024 – The importance of inspiring inclusion”, looks at the barriers that prevent women from starting in the tech sector, and at the factors that stand in the way of their tech career growth. Gillian opines that, if we can address these, the IT industry will be better able to design and engineer products that serve society and make lives better.
