The Icelandic Computer Society Ský, a member of CEPIS and a certified Gold Member of the DiversIT Charter, has recently been officially appointed the national DiversIT Charter ambassador in Iceland.
Arnheiður Guðmundsdóttir, the Society’s Managing Director, said: ““At Ský we have always believed that increasing the number of women in tech professions is of vital importance, and have worked towards this goal for many years. Having received the Gold certificate of the DiversIT Charter was a great recognition of the work of our society. We cannot wait to see the tech companies in Iceland apply for the Charter and we are proud to have the opportunity to do our best to help them be more diverse and see more women and young people in the Icelandic tech industry in the future.”
As National Ambassador, Ský is the official representative of the DiversIT Charter network and responsible for promoting, operating and administering the DiversIT Charter certification in Iceland.
