DiversIT Charter launched on 26 November
The CEPIS DiversIT Charter was launched at an online conference on 26 November. The event was very successful, with more than 100 attendees, and included high-profile keynote speakers and panellists from the European Commission, the European Parliament, private and non-governmental sectors who discussed topics from the importance of gender diversity in general to specific best practices to attract and retain female tech talents.
DiversIT Charter to launch to tackle the lack of women in tech in Europe
A new charter committed to increasing the number of women in tech roles in Europe will be launched on 26 November by the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS). The DiversIT Charter, which has been developed by CEPIS’ Women in IT group, will be open to organisations from across Europe, including the UK.

Save the date: DiversIT Charter launch to take place on 26 November online
The CEPIS DiversIT Charter will be officially launched at an online event on 26 November 2020, from 10:00 to 13:00 approximately. The event will gather stakeholders from the European institutions, industry, non-governmental and public sector, and will focus on challenges and opportunities related to the gender gap in ICT professions.
DiversIT Charter Launch postponed to 26 November 2020
The official European launch event of the CEPIS European Digital Women Diversity (DiversIT) Charter will take place on 6 May 2020, at the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s hotel in Brussels, Belgium.
IAT adopts DiversIT Charter in national launch event
On 21 November, the Turkish Computer Society (IAT) demonstrated its commitment to gender diversity in ICT professions by being the first CEPIS member society to officially adopt the CEPIS DiversIT Charter.
