The CEPIS DiversIT Charter has been selected as one of the finalists in the 2023 edition of the European Digital Skills Awards (EDSA). The evaluation process examined the applicants’ impact, scalability, replicability, innovation, outreach, sustainability and inclusion.
Jakub Christoph, Secretary General of CEPIS, said: “It is a great honour to be recognised in these awards, especially since all the other projects and initiatives also do amazing work. We are pleased that our efforts are acknowledged, and we hope that this will enforce our message of the importance of gender equality in the tech professions.”
The Awards, which aim to acknowledge and promote projects and initiatives that are supporting Europeans in all areas related to digital skills, received more than 330 applications over 5 categories from across Europe. The DiversIT Charter and four other projects were selected as finalists in the “Women in ICT Careers” category.
The winners of the EDSA 2023 will be announced on 28 June.
