The demand for cybersecurity professionals is critical as digital threats grow in complexity and scale. Women, who remain underrepresented in the field, bring diverse perspectives essential for innovative solutions. Encouraging more women to join cybersecurity not only addresses the talent shortage but also fosters inclusive and balanced teams, which research shows improve problem-solving and decision-making.
To this end, Women4Cyber has announced the 7th edition of its Mentorship Programme, running from January to July 2025. Aimed at closing the skills gap in cybersecurity, the free initiative pairs mentors with mentees across all career stages.
Participants benefit from personalized online mentoring, monthly webinars, and access to training resources. Mentors with 3+ years of experience and aspiring cybersecurity professionals can apply until December 31, 2024 (mentees) or January 5, 2025 (mentors).
